Tea-free Cocoa Chai ('Morning Mud Low-Caf') - Instant Mushroom Latte
The tea is gone, but the masala remains.
Our offering for those who are caffeine-sensitive. “Chai" means "tea" in Hindi, coming originally from the Chinese word for tea, "chá."13 It can refer to both the plant grown for its tannic benefits and the beverage steeped with milk, sugar, and lots of spices.
This is our nod to the less-common herbal chai variations that omit the tea leaves altogether. We've bumped up the cacao and added more spice. Slightly less complex, all the more rich.
Flavor Notes: chocolate, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper
Caffeine Level: 0.5 out of 5. Still possible to meditate.
